Abstract

Key Words : Teaching Learning, Method, Media, Problem faced. The objectives of the research were to describe the method used in teaching learning process of recount text writing, to describe the media used in teaching learning process of recount text writing and to describe the problems faced by the teacher in teaching learning process of recount text writing. The research was a descriptive qualitative research. The object is teaching learning process of recount text writing at second grade. The subjects of this research are the English teachers and the students in second grade of MTsN Tinawas Nogosari. The researcher did three steps to analyze the data, they are reduction the data, presenting the data and drawing conclusion, to prove the trustworthiness the data, the researcher used triangulation. The result of this research shows that, the teachers used the same methods that were Task Based Method and Cooperative Learning. The teachers used picture and white board as a media in teaching learning process. In addition, the researcher found some problems faced by the English teachers in teaching learning process of recount text writing they were: (1) the students had less vocabulary, difficulties in grammar (2) classroom management and (3) the assumption of the students that English language was difficult.
