Abstract

Personnel Danar and the Blangkon have an unexpected past. The first informant is a former event organizer for a nightclub and the second informant is a former drug addict. This study aims to describe the values of the meaning of life in Danar and the Blangkon personnel. The research data is qualitative data with a phenomenological approach. Sources of data in the form of interviews, observations, and documentation. Data analysis was developed by Miles and Huberman and processed using atlas.ti software. Validity using triangulation of sources and techniques. The results showed that the two personnel of Danar and the Blangkon got the values of meaning in life which included creative values, appreciation values, and attitude values. The creative value obtained by the two informants is different. The first informant became a social activist, one of which was being a super isoman during the covid-19 pandemic. The second informant developed his hobby in the art world to fill the void during the pandemic. The value of appreciation gets family warmth and faith is stronger. The value of being able to take lessons from past events. The values obtained from experience and during the covid-19 pandemic have been actualized to date because both informants have principles in living life. The first informant has the principle of sak madyane and the second informant has a view that drugs are like a vicious circle. This principle has made the two personnel of Danar and the Blangkon continue to realize the values of the meaning of life to this day and feel true happiness.
