Abstract

Abstract This research is conducted to find out about; (1) the implementation of Literacy Qur'an (BTQ) Learning, (2) the evaluation of Literacy Qur'an (BTQ) Learning, (3) the inhibiting factors of Literacy Qur'an (BTQ) Learning, (4) the solution to overcome the inhibiting factors of Literacy Qur'an (BTQ) Learning at Klaten Islamic State Junior High School 2016/2017. The kind of research was a qualitative research that held at Klaten Islamic State Junior High School on June to August 2017. The subjects of this research were BTQ teachers in Klaten Islamic State Junior High School and supported by the informants that consist of school principal, head of administration, deputy head of the curriculum, BTQ learning coordinator, counseling teacher, librarian and 7 grade students at Klaten Islamic State Junior High School. Methods of data collection used observation, interviews, questionnaires and documentation. This research used CIPP evaluation model. The validity test of data used source triangulation. The technique of data analysis used interactive analyze model by Miles and Huberman. The results reveal that the implementation of Literacy Qur'an (BTQ) Learning at Klaten Islamic State Junior High School 2016/2017, can be described as follows: (1) The implementation of the BTQ Learning at Klaten Islamic State Junior High School must be present by 7 grade students, include: (a) the learning activity scheduled twice a week, be held on evening and out of effective time, the learning activity is started from introduction, core activities, and closing, (b) the method used is listening and reading directly in front of teacher, and the material are taken from Iqro' book published by tadarus team of ‘AMM’ Yogyakarta, (2) The learning evaluation used test and non-test which divided into three stages: diagnostic evaluation, formative evaluation and summative evaluation, (3) Inhibiting factors of learning are divided into several factors: low student motivation, student intelligence, undisciplined teacher, less attention of families and people who do not care enough about theology, (4) The solution of inhibiting factors that need to be applied is by improving the quality of teachers through trainings; raising students learning motivation by giving score in academic transcript, rewarding, holding competition, teachers Ego-Involvement, giving praise and giving punishment; and holding a meeting between Islamic State Junior High School Klaten with parents of students in order to coaching and giving kids guidance in support of the learning goals achievement of Literacy Qur'an (BTQ) Learning at Klaten Islamic State Junior High School.
