Abstract

Abstract This study aims to find a clear picture of: (1) Management of school leadership, (2) The supporting factors and the inhibiting factors the management of principal, (3) The principal effort in improving the productivity of teachers in kindergarten Amanah Ummah Klaten. Qualitative research methods using qualitative descriptive approach . The experiment was conducted in kindergarten Amanah Ummah Klaten 2014. Subyek research include: principals and teachers. Medium informant research include: employees and parent . Techniques of data collection methods: observation ( observation ), interviews and documentation. Examination of the validity of the data using triangulation of data with interactive model that consists of data collection, data reduction, presentation and conclusion. The results showed that: ( 1 ) The principal in implementing leadership using participatory democratic leadership style are: teachers and employees hold meetings once a week every Saturday afternoon, held a meeting with the committee and parents, prepare budgets, determining work methods and goals to be achieved, hold Iqro learning ' in the group class A, then learning the Koran in class group B. ( 2 ) factors that support the management of school leadership includes factors, the availability of funds , personnel ( teachers / employees ), availability of facilities and infrastructure, the number of qualified teachers and adequate , excellent student factors , partnership support from the community, especially parents , school leadership that has the vision to build team work and uplifting . While the inhibiting factors of the support from community and parents are not optimal, most parents weak economy , the financial support is also not optimal. To overcome these problems the principal form a team with the involvement of teachers, employees, government and parent. Motivating teachers / employees to perform , in collaboration with parents and the education departmental. ( 3 ) Increased productivity of teachers' work is done by encouraging teachers to lecture in accordance field ( linear ) and motivating teachers / employees who are not scholars to go to school anymore Keywords : management, leadership, principals, teachers work productivity .
