Hum Key Words : Bingo Game, Vocabulary The objective of this research is to know the effectiveness of using Bingo Game to enrich students’ vocabulary at The Seventh Grade of SMP Negeri 03 Mojogedang in The Academic Year 2016/ 2017. The students got some problem in the teaching learningprocess especially in teaching vocabulary. This is an Experimental Research. The research was carried out at SMP Negeri 03 Mojogedang from May until June 2017. The method used in this research was quasi experiment (pre-test and post-test design with non-equivalent control group design). Here, the researcher took the data from the second semester students VIIC and VIID as the sample of the research. In experimental group was taught by using Bingo Game while in the control group was taught by using Crossword Puzzle. The VIID class as control group and the VIIC class as experimental group. Each class consists of 32 students. Dealing with the research instrument of collecting the data, the researcher uses a test. The test consists of pre-test and post-test. It was conducted before and after treatment. To analyze the data, the researcher using the t-test with significance level α = 0.05 to know there is a significant difference of students’ vocabulary. The result of the research leads to the conclusion such as, first, the students who were taught by Bingo Game have significant different than who were taught by using Crossword Puzzle. It can be proved from the score from results of t-test (2.634) which is higher than t-table (2.000). The mean of students who were taught by using Bingo Game (71.75) is higher than those who were taught by Crossword Puzzle (66.88). It could be concluded that Bingo Game is effective to enrich vocabulary as the media on students’ vocabulary at the seventh grade of SMP Negeri 03 Mojogedang in the academic year of 2016/ 2017. Therefore, it implied that Bingo game is appropriately media to enrich students’ vocabulary. Keywords : Vocabulary, Bingo Game, Crossword Puzzle
