Abstract

ABTRAK Title : MENEJEMEN PENYELENGGARAAN SEKOLAH LUAR BIASA C (SLB-C) YPAALB PRAMBANAN, KAB. KLATEN TAHUN 2010 Author : UMI MAISAROH NIM : 26.09.73.028 The objective of this study is to describe :1)the role of the school committee as advisory agency;2) supporting agency, 3) controlling agency and 4) mediator agency in Karanglo State Elementary School, Cilongok Education Office, SLB-C YPAALB Prambanan, Kab. Klaten. This study was qualitative approach. The sample was snowball sampling technique. The data were collected through interviews, observations, documentation and anquette. The validity of the data was obtained through triangulation. The data were analysed using the Interactive Analysis Model from Miles and Huberman. The results of the study are as follows: 1) The role of the school committee as advisory agency is in medium category. It can be seen that the performance in the function of the school planning management is categorized good, the performance in the function of the program implemantation is less, and the performance in the function of the education resources management is medium. 2) The role of the school committee as the supporting agency is in good category, regarding that the performance in the function of the human resources management is medium, the performance in the function of the facility and infrastructure management is good, and the performance in the function of the budget management is good. 3) The role of the school committee as the controlling agency is categorized medium. It can bee seen that the performance in the function of school planning management is less, the performance in the function of the program implemantation monitoring is less, and the performance in the function of the output of education monitoring is medium. 4) The role of the school committee as the mediator agency is categorized good. It can be seen that the performance in the function of aducation planning is good, the performance in the function of the program implemantation is good, and the performance in the function of the education resources management is also good Managemt SLB-C YPAALB Prambanan, Kab.
