Abstract

This study aims to find evidence of the influence of career motivation and distributive justice on employee performance with career satisfaction as intervening variable at PT. Pos Indonesia (Persero) Branch Boyolali. Population in this research is all employees that is 70 employees. Sampling technique used is nonprobability sampling with census method, so the sample used in this research is 70 employees of PT. Pos Indonesia (Persero) Branch Boyolali. In this research, using three variables are dependent variable, independent variable, and mediation variable. For the dependent variable in this study is employee performance. For independent variables is career motivation and distributive justice, and for mediation variables is career satisfaction. The research method used is quantitative method. This research uses Partial Least Square (PLS) analysis method. The results of this study indicate that career motivation has a significant effect on career satisfaction, career motivation has a significant effect on employee performance, distributive justice has a significant effect on career satisfaction, distributive justice has no significant effect on employee performance, and career satisfaction has a significant effect on employee performance. The results of this study also shows that the effect of mediation calculated by the formula Sobel found that the indirect influence of career motivation on employee performance through career satisfaction is not acceptable.
