Abstract

The purpose of this research is to analyze; (1) The management of Iltizamu At- Tauhid wa At-Takwa Foundation to improve teacher‟s personality competency at Nurul Musthofa Islamic Middle High School-Juwiring, (2) The obstacles and the solutions to improve teacher‟s personality competency at Nurul Musthofa Islamic Middle High School-Juwiring. The focus of the research is on planning, organizing, implementing and supervising. This research was field research with qualitative descriptive approach. The research was conducted at Nurul Musthofa Islamic Middle High School Bolopleret Juwiring Klaten started from July to August 2017. Subject of this research was Head of Iltizamu At-TauhidWa At-Takwa Foundation. Informants of this research were; Director of educational institutions, aadministrator of Iltizamu At-TauhidWa At-Takwa Foundation, Headmaster, and some teachers of Nurul Musthofa Islamic Middle High School. Data collection techniques used observation, interview and documentation. To test the validity of research data used triangulation technique. Analysis of data used analysis of Miles and Hubberman model, i.e. interactive model encompassing data collection, data reduction, data presentation, and data verification. Based on the research result, it can be concluded that: 1) Management of Iltizamu At-TauhidWa At-Takwa Foundation to improve teacher‟s personality competency at Nurul Musthofa Islamic Middle High School-Juwiring is conducted through (a) Character Building, (b) Al-Quran Recitation, (c) and communal Quran reading and Mujahadah implemented by running management functions in the form of planning, organizing, implementing, and monitoring. Through these three programs can improve the teacher's personality competence of sidiq, amanah, tabligh, fathanah, discipline, noble character and can be emulated. 2) Obstacles in improving teacher‟s personality competency at Nurul Musthofa Islamic Middle High School - Juwiring, are (a) for the construction of good morals (Akhlakul Karimah), teacher‟s creativity must be still improved. Its solution for the teachers who are not active; there should be warnings and coaching. While for active teachers, it will be given award, (b) for Al-Quran Recitation program, there are some teachers who are not proficient in reading the Quran. Its solution is giving trainings for teacher including in the reading of the Qur‟an, (c) implementation of communal Quran reading and Mujahadah cannot be followed by all teachers because of long distances and at night, and the difference of understanding of dzikr voiced loudly and congregational. Its solutions are by changing the schedule and the foundation provides means of transportations. Keyword: Foundation Management and Personality Competence
