Islamic Education and Teacher Training Faculty Advisor : Dr. Rochmat Budi Santoso, S.Pd, M.Pd Keyword : Parents’ Role, Students’ Interest, Students’ Achievement The research problem is focused on the correlation between parents role ,students interest and students achievement. The objective of this study is to know the correlation between parents role in educating children and students interest in English toward students English achievement at the seventh grade of MTs N 1Karanganyar in the academic year of 2017/2018.This is a quantitative research. The researcher used correlation research design. The research was conducted at MTs N 1 Karanganyar started from 16st April until 23tdApril 2018. The population of this research is all the seventh grade students of MTs N 1 Karanganyar in the academic year of 2017/2018. The sum of population is 264 students. The sample of test in this study is 64 students that consist of 7A-7H. The sampling technique that used is proportionate random sampling. The techniques of collecting data used the tests and questionnaire. The techniques of analyzing data used simple and multiple linear regression and pearson product moment formula. To test the hypothesis, the researcher used SPSS 20 for windows. The result of this research showed that there was significant correlation between parents’ role and English achievement. It can be seen from the result of correlations. The significant (p-value) < α, 0.000 < 0.05. Rxy was 0.588. It meant that parents’ role and English achievement had correlation. The good parents’ role in educating children followed by good English achievement. Then, there was significant correlation between students’ interest in English and English achievement. It can be seen from the result of correlations. The significant (p-value) < α, 0.000 < 0.05. Rxy was 0.790. It meant that students’ interest in English and English achievement had correlation. The good students’ interest in English followed by good English achievement. Then, there was significant correlation between parents’ role in educating children, students’ interest in English, and English achievement. The result of significant Fchange was 0.000 < 0.05, it meant that parents’ role in educating children, students’ interest in English, and English achievement. Rxy was 0.818, it meant that parents’ role in educating children,students’ interest in English, and English achievement.
