Abstract

This study aims to determine the strategy used BMT Al Firdaus in raising savings funds on market traders Ir. Soekarno Sukoharjo and also know the factors influencing the strategy of accumulating the savings fund. This research used qualitative method with descriptive analysis done at. This research was conducted at the head office of BMT Al Firdaus Sukoharjo dan in market Ir. Soekarno Sukoharjo, by interviewing 20 informants in depth, that is 2 informants from BMT Al Firdaus, 8 merchants who have been saving in BMT Al Firdaus and 10 merchants who have not saving in BMT Al Firdaus Sukoharjo. This research is important to do because it is driven by the curiosity of the researcher about the causes of at least the market traders Ir. Soekarno Sukoharjo who are interested in saving money in BMT Al Firdaus, that is only 15 people who save. While BMT Al Firdaus has been established since 1999, in terms of distance is also close to the market Ir. Soekarno Sukoharjo and promotion have also been done. What factors affect the strategy of raising the saving fund of BMT Al Firdaus on the market Ir. Soekarno Sukoharjo and how to solve the problem. The result showed that the strategy used BMT Al Firdaus Sukoharjo is using the 4P theory of marketing strategy that is price, produk, promosi, place. BMT Al Firdaus also does some approach on traders in market Ir. Soekarno Sukoharjo, that is invidual approach, kinship approach, and financing approach. Then for the factors affecting the strategy of fund raising savings BMT Al Firdaus Sukoharjo are internal factors and external factors. Internal factor is the marketing of BMT Al Firdaus Sukoharjo itself, external factors are competition with other institutions, and the lack of knowledge of traders related to sharia institutions.
