Abstract

Linda Selviana, 2018, Implementation of Carawa Media Media in Class IV Java Learning at MI Pereng Pakel Andong Boyolali Lesson Year 2017/2018. Thesis: Teacher Education Study Program Madrasah Ibtidaiyah, Faculty of Tarbiyah and Teacher Training, IAIN Surakarta. Advisor: Ali Mashar, S.Pd.I., M.Hum Keywords: Implementation of Carawa Card Media, Java Language Learning Javanese is a compulsory subject that enters the local content of basic education. These subjects are less interested students especially on Javanese script material. This happens because the teacher has never used the media in the process of learning in the classroom, and teachers more often use the lecture method. Therefore, the fourth-grade Javanese teacher in MI Pereng, Pakel, Andong, Boyolali innovated to pack the learning more fun, by using the Carawa media in learning Java language. The purpose of this research is 1) to know the Javanese teacher in implementing the media of Carawa Card in teaching and learning process at MI Pereng, Pakel, Andong, Boyolali, 2) to know the supporting factor and inhibiting the implementation of Carawa media in learning Java language. This research uses a qualitative descriptive approach. Place of study at MI Pereng, Pakel, Andong, Boyolali in January-July 2018. The subjects in this research is a grade IV Java teacher, while the research informant is the headmaster and fourth grade students MI Pereng, Pakel, Andong, Boyolali. Data collection technique is done by interview, observation and documentation. To test the validity of the data using source and technique triangulation. Then the data is analyzed by using interactive analysis model with steps: data collection, data reduction, data presentation and conclusion. The results of this study indicate that 1) Implementation of Carawa media media in learning Java Class IV in MI Pereng, Pakel, Andong, Boyolali done through several stages, namely the preparation stage of teaching, the learning process stage and evaluation phase. In the stand-up preparations, teachers prepare everything that supports learning including the media. While at the stage of the learning process of teachers implementing learning Java language using the media Carawa Card. After the learning phase is complete, the teacher evaluates to know whether or not the learning objectives are achieved, 2) The supporting factors that appear on the implementation of the Carawa media in the learning of Java Language IV are the supporting material, the positive response from the students and the guidance media Carawa Card. As for the factors inhibiting the implementation of Carawa media media in learning Java language such as difficult student conditioning, the duration of learning time is small and the limited ability of students.
