Muhammad Fauzan, February 2018, Implementation of Religious Character Education at SMK Health Mandala Bhakti Surakarta Academic Year 2017/2018, Thesis: Islamic Religious Studies Program, Faculty of Tarbiyah and Teacher Training, IAIN Surakarta. Advisor: Dr. H. Moh Mahbub, S. Ag., M. Si. Keywords: Implementation of Character Education, Religious Character Character education is interpreted by a system of inculcating the value of character to the school citizen which includes the component of knowledge, awareness, or willingness, and action to implement those values. As an educational institution, SMK Health Mandala Bhakti Surakarta conducts religious character education through education programs, both in the classroom and outside the classroom. The purpose of this research is (1) to know the implementation of religious character education in SMK Health Mandala Bhakti Surakarta Year 2017 / 2018. (2) to know the method of character building applied to develop the education of religious character in SMK Health Mandala Bhakti Surakarta Year 2017 / 2018. This research is descriptive qualitative research by taking place at SMK Health Mandala Bhakti Surakarta. This research was conducted from April 2017 until January 2018. The subjects in this study were students of SMK Kesehatan Mandala Bhakti Surakarta. Informants in this research are principals, teachers and staff at SMK health Mandala Bhakti Surakarta. Data collection was done by observation, interview and documentation. The technique of data validity is done by triangulation of source and method. Data analysis techniques with interactive model analysis including data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion or verification. The results of this study indicate that the implementation of religious character education in SMK Health Mandala Bhakti Surakarta Academic Year 2017/2018 namely (1) The form of implementation of religious school characters that shake hands, morning fress, dhuha prayer and dhuhur prayer, ashar prayer in congregation, , muhadhoroh, pesantren kilat, mabit, alms response and zakat fitrah, PBHI (memorial of Islamic day), maulid nabi, isra 'mi'raj, nuzulul quran. (2) methods or steps in the implementation of character education through exemplary and habituation. The characters that are developed in the religious schooling are concerned with the environment, cultivate friendship, respect, respect, discipline, independence, responsibility, honesty, increase his love for God, get used to pray to God, surrender, grateful, sincere, hard work. With the existence of these school programs are expected to realize human human kamil.
