Abstract

Alfina Adi. (143111028). The relationship between the personality of the Teacher Learning Motivation of students With Special Program Class VIII Subjects history of Islamic culture In the country, Surakarta MTs II 2017/2018 school year. The Department Of Islamic Studies. July 2018. Keywords: Teacher Personality, motivation Learn to SKI This event will be based on research by the attitude of the teacher who has not shown a good personality at the time of learning in Surakarta MTsN II and lack of student motivation in following the process of learning history of Islamic culture (SKI) is ongoing. This research aims to know the personality of the teacher 1) in Surakarta MTsN II, 2) knowing the motivation of learning students PK class VIII subjects skiing, 3) find out the influence of the personality of the teacher against a student's learning motivation PK class VIII SKI subjects in MTsN Surakarta 2017/2018 school year, 4) knowing how big the donations personality of teachers towards learning motivation of students at class VIII subjects skiing in Surakarta MTsN school year 2017/2018. This research was conducted by using the method of survey. This research was conducted in Surakarta MTsN II. Population of 110 students, this research sample is a special Program students MTsN Surakarta II as much as 85 students. Sampling techniques using simple random sampling. Data collection using question form. Test instrument validity and reliability using the technique of validity and reliability coefficient alpha. Hypothesis testing using pearson product moment correlation and determination, prior to test test prerequisites done analysis that is a test of normality by way of Kolmogorov-Semirnov. From the results of the analysis of the data obtained conclusions: (1) the personality of the teacher in learning SKIING class VIII Special Program in academic year II of Surakarta MTsN 2017/2018 obtained average 74.59. (2) the learning Motivation of students in learning the history of Islamic culture class VIII Special Program in academic year II of Surakarta MTsN 2017/2018 obtained an average of 64.68. (3) there is a significant influence on the personality of the teacher against a student's learning motivation class VIII Special Program subjects history of Islamic culture in Surakarta MTsN II 2017/2018 school year. This is demonstrated by the results of a test of the hypothesis with the calculation of correlation pearson product moment and note the value of the sig (2-tailed) by 0.042 from 0.05, so the testing (0.042 < 0.05) retrieved Ho denied and Ha received so there are influences that significantly to the motivation of learning students a special Program class VIII subjects history of Islamic culture in Surakarta MTsN II 2017/2018 school year. (4) the magnitude of the number of coefficients of determination (R Square) 0.049 equal to 4.9%. The figure means that large donations of personality of teachers towards learning motivation of students at class VIII subjects skiing in Surakarta MTsN II 2017/2018 school year amounted to 4.9%.
