Abstract

The purpose of this study is to determine: 1. Management of teachers of classroom management for the first grade of Muhammadiyah Primary School of Wonogiri in the academic year of 2015 / 2016. 2. Barriers of teacher management in classroom management for the first grade of Muhammadiyah Primary School of Wonogiri in the academic year of 2015 / 2016. 3. Solutions to overcome barriers of teacher management classroom management for the first grade of Muhammadiyah Primary School of Wonogiri in the academic year of 2015/2016. Method of this research used descriptive qualitative approach. Data collection employed observation, interviews, and document. Subject of this research was the first grade teachers, while the informants were the principal, other teachers, parents and the first grade students. Test of data validity applied triangulation of data sources, while the technique of analysis used interactive model of Miles and Huberman. The results of this study are as follows: 1. Teacher management of classroom management for the first grade of Muhammadiyah Primary School of Wonogiri that has been implemented by the class teacher of 1A and 1B begins with the planning, organizing, directing, and monitoring. The difference is in the first grade class feels heavier because it is also conducted sargi, tadarus and BTQ. 2. Problem faced primarily is related to the students themselves. The characteristic of students in low grade is still difficult to be directed or focused on learning activities and adjustments related to the students in terms of discipline and self-reliance, as well as difficulty or not able to do reading and writing. 3. Solutions to overcome the barriers faced by first-grade teacher in classroom management is to use a variety of approaches that fit as well as it takes patience and diligence in guiding and directing students in the classroom.
